Flying Scot

The Flying Scot has been in continuous production since 1957, and there's a reason: it's nearly impossible to outgrow. Nineteen feet long, six hundred fifty pounds of hand-laid fiberglass, and stable enough that we've never had one turtle on Farallon Cove — it's the boat we hand to new skippers with young kids, and the boat our founder still races.

It seats four adults comfortably (five in a pinch), points respectably, and on a fifteen-knot northwest breeze it will put a grin on your face that lasts through dinner. Our four Scots are named Loon, Walleye, Aurora, and Tamarack, and each has its partisans.
